Health and Safety
Asia Iron Australia believes that all work related injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable. Leading practice health and safety performance is regarded as integral to the daily management of our business and managing risk in the workplace.
Management commitment to health and safety is clearly defined by corporate vision and action and is critical for the business to build a culture where personnel are "Risk Aware" and take responsibility for health and safety through their actions and compliance with health and safety requirements.
Health and safety is part of everyone's responsibility, but it is also the responsibility of Asia Iron Australia to establish the safety management system that enables people to work safely and provide a work environment that does not impact on health.
Our health and safety policy objectives are to:
- Achieve health and safety performance of which the Company can be proud;
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all persons working for and on behalf of Asia Iron Australia and visitors to our business;
- Manage health and safety to a standard that meets legislative and business requirements; and
- Uphold the values of good corporate citizenship and sustainable development.
